Tata Sierra AWD
The Sierra 2025 is based on the brand’s new ARGOS (All-terrain Ready, Omni-Energy and Geometry Scalable) architecture, which is a multi-energy monocoque platform that supports various body styles and vehicle length, as well as multiple drivetrain setups, including AWD.
While the Sierra EV will be launched next year in both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) options from day one, the ICE-powered Sierra will be launched in 2027, marking Tata’s first ICE-powered AWD since the Hexa was discontinued in 2020. As of now, the brand has the Harrier EV in its portfolio that comes with all-wheel-drive capabilities and interestingly, the AWD version makes approximately 35 per cent of Harrier EV’s sales.

Tata Sierra Engine Options
As of now, Tata has launched the Sierra in front-wheel-drive form with three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. However, which engine will get the AWD is still a mystery.
