If you’re also planning to bring the new Nexon home, here’s a quick summary of what this upgraded SUV has to offer: –

Head Turner Styling

To start with, the facelifted Nexon SUV has undergone some significant design changes, which have made it more contemporary than the outgoing model.

  • Upfront, the updated SUV gets a completely refreshed facia, featuring new LED DRLs flanking the sleeker humanity line grille. There’s also the redone bumper, accommodating vertically stacked LED projector headlamps in triangular housings.
  • From the sides, the silhouette of the new Nexon remains unchanged. However, it receives newly designed alloy wheels.
  • At the back, it gets a redesigned tailgate, along with new connected LED taillamps and bumper.

However, the petrol unit is now available in as many as four transmission choices, comprising a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit. The diesel engine, however, retains the 6-speed manual and AMT choices.

Expected Price

We anticipate the 2-23 Tata Nexon facelift to command a significant price premium over its current model that retails between Rs 8 – 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will revive its rivalry against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
