Design Changes

  • Minor design changes have been made to the City’s front fascia, including a revised grille with a new pattern, more striking LED DRLs, and a new bumper.
  • The side and rear profiles of the car remained largely unchanged, except for the new alloy wheels, a redone rear bumper, and a trunk-mounted rear spoiler.
  • Save for the carbon fibre-like effect around the instrument panel, the interior of the City also remains the same.
  • Honda has also introduced a new Obsidian Blue Pearl shade for the City.

New Features

  • Honda has furnished the City facelift with a host of new features, such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charging, and rain-sensing wipers. However, the biggest addition comes in the safety department in the form of the Honda Sensing suit, which is essentially Honda’s jargon for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It comprises active safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and high-beam assist.
  • The newly introduced V hybrid variants will also benefit from ADAS features.
  • Honda has also introduced a new “Low-Speed Follow” function for the e:HEV model, which provides drivers with additional safety when following a vehicle ahead. The car also has a “Lead Car Departure Notification System” that alerts the driver when the car in front begins to move.
