Tata Nexon XZ and XZA Variants Are No Longer On Sale

Tata Motors has discontinued the second from the top XZ and XZA variants of the Nexon from the Indian market. This leaves the sub-4m SUV down to four broad trims: XE, XM, XM (S), and XZ+. The range-topping XZ+ trim also comes in Kaziranga and Dark Editions.

The Tata Nexon XZ and XZA variants were offered in both petrol and diesel guises. They came with features like 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, 8-speakers Harman sound system, auto-folding ORVMs, steering mounted controls, rear AC vents, what3words navigation support, and much more. Safety kit included dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, rollover mitigation, electronic stability program, traction control, hill hold assist, and much more.

Powering the Tata Nexon is a 120PS/170Nm 1.2-liter turbo-petrol and 110PS/260Nm 1.5-liter diesel engine, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT transmission. Soon it will receive the segment’s first CNG powertrain and the convenience of DCT.

Currently, the Tata Nexon retails from Rs 7.55 lakh to Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It takes on the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Seltos, Mahindra XUV300, Honda WR-V, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
