2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – What’s New?

Going by the leaked images, the exterior profile of the 2022 Maruti Ertiga is unlikely to see any major changes except for a refreshed mesh-pattern front grille and a new element that will connect its tail lamps. While we are yet to take a peek inside, we believe it will get a new cabin theme with revised upholstery and more comfort & convenience features to make it more upmarket.

Powertrain

We don’t expect any changes under the hood. The 2022 Ertiga is likely to retain the ongoing 105PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. An optional factory-fitted CNG kit will also remain on offer.

Expected Price

The new Ertiga will certainly command a significant price premium over the existing model which ranges from Rs 8.12 lakh to Rs 10.85 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With its launch, it will continue to enjoy its exclusivity in its segment.
