Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Zac Hollis, Brand Director – ŠKODA AUTO India, said –

2021 is marked as the year of growth for the ŠKODA brand in India. With the launch of KUSHAQ, there is a substantial growth in our volumes and despite the challenging environment, we have managed to have a really successful launch. Along with growing our volumes, enhancing the customer experience and our journey of customer-centricity is pivotal to our success in India. We have already introduced several initiatives on this front, and I am happy to announce the start of ‘ŠKODA Compact Workshops’. Our objective is to cater to the growing customer base and ensure that customers have a seamless experience with the ŠKODA brand.

Besides, Skoda has also recently introduced its ‘Peace of Mind’ campaign to enhance the ownership experience. The campaign is said to be built on four pillars: Cost of ownership, Customer Reach, Convenience, and Transparency. Under this initiative, the company has redefined the ownership experience in essential aftersales divisions of cost of maintenance, customer reach, and convenience through strategic initiatives. The brand is also revised its spare parts prices, enhanced replacement intervals, and reduced engine oil prices of gasoline engines by 32%, resulting in up to 21% lower overall maintenance costs.

Currently, Skoda has its presence in more than 100 cities across the country with 170 customer touchpoints, including sales and after-sales facilities. The brand has plans to have over 225 touchpoints across the country.

In the other updates, the ŠKODA Auto is also preparing up for the launch of facelifted Kodiaq and Rapid's successor model that is likely to be known as Slavia. Both models are expected to be launched by the end of this year.
