Simple One Electric Scooter Received Over 30,000 Bookings

Launched on August 15, the Simple One electric scooter has received over 30,000 bookings in just 4 days since its launch. The e-scooter is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) and is claimed to offer 203km of range in Eco mode. Interested buyers can pre-book the electric scooter online at a token amount of Rs 1,947.

Speaking on this announcement, Suhas Rajkumar, Founder & CEO of Simple Energy said-

Currently, the Simple One scooter is only available in 75 cities across 13 states, including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Punjab. The EV maker will soon expand its reach to other states as well.

The Simple One is powered by a 4.8kW motor that belts out best-in-class 72Nm. With this, Simple Energy claims that the e-scooter can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.95 seconds, making it the fastest electric scooter in the country. 

It comes equipped with a 4.8kWh battery pack that includes a fixed battery and a 7kg detachable battery that can be charged separately. The fixed battery can be charged from 0-80% in 2.75 hours, while the swappable battery takes around 75 minutes for the same. The e-scooter also offers four riding modes: Eco, Rain, Dash, and Sonic, with a top speed of 105kmph.
