The Benelli 502C is powered by the same 500cc eight-valve, DOHC liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as the Benelli TRK 502 adventure and Leoncino 500 retro scrambler that can produce a maximum power output of 47.6PS at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 46Nm at 6,000rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox linked to a final chain drive.

Features onboard include an all-LED lighting system, dual-channel ABS, adjustable footrests, and a fully digital instrument cluster with dual display modes. The bike is available in two colour options- Red and Black.
