- With the Sporteq, Mahindra has also introduced the Battery as a Service (BaaS) option, which is available only with the 59kWh-powered ONE and TWO variants.
- The Formula E Edition is now available in two variants called the Formula E and Freedom Edition, which are based on the SPORTEQ Three and SPORTEQ Four trims, respectively.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq – Exterior Design
- The BE 6 Sporteq carries over the same design as the outgoing BE 6. The only visual change is a ‘Sporteq’ badging.
- Furthermore, the newly introduced Launch Edition gets an exclusive Graphite Storm exterior paint finish.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq – New Interior Layout and Features

- The biggest change is seen inside the cabin in the form of a redesigned, horizontal dashboard layout, devoid of the earlier halo-like loop around the driver’s area for a cleaner appearance.
- This also creates additional storage space on the central console tunnel and improves access to the wireless charging pad and USB Type-C ports for the co-passenger.
- The Launch Edition is further distinguished by an exclusive Tan-brown cabin theme with matching upholstery and dashboard trim.
- On the other hand, the lower variants continue to feature a black and dark green interior theme.
- Regarding features, the higher variants of the SUV now get a triple 12.3-inch display setup, comprising a digital cluster, centre infotainment system and a co-passenger entertainment display. A similar kind of setup is already available in the XEV 9e, XEV 9s, and XUV 7XO.
- The Formula E Edition continues with the earlier dashboard layout with a dual-screen setup.
- Mahindra has also introduced new TEQ technology suites focused on connectivity, personalisation and vehicle functionality. These include: –
- TEQ_Me for personalised driver profiles
- TEQ_Talk with Google Gemini integration
- TEQ_xting for personalised messages on the LED tailgate display
- TEQ_Drive, which adds features such as Custom Drive Mode, Tribe Drive, Drift Mode, Acceleration Boost and Revive SOS, which can provide up to 13km of range after the battery reaches zero, up to five times during the battery’s lifetime.
The Google Gemini integration will also be rolled out to existing Mahindra electric SUVs via an over-the-air update from January 2027.
Other Features
Apart from these changes, the BE 6 Sporteq continues to retain amenities like NFC digital key, a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, panoramic glass roof, auto park assist, head-up display, a 540-degree camera, 7 airbags, front & rear parking sensors, Level 2 ADAS and much more.
