Toyota India has introduced a fresh batch of the Land Cruiser SUV in India, this time in the LC300 avatar. The Japanese carmaker has offered it in two variants: ZX and the sportier GR-S, priced at Rs 2.31 crore and Rs 2.41 crore (ex-showroom). It will continue to be offered as a fully imported model. Interested customers can now make their bookings.

What’s Underneath the Hood?

The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 retains the same mighty 3.3-litre V6 twin-turbocharged diesel engine producing 309PS of max power and 700Nm of peak torque. Paired with a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission, it drives all four wheels of the SUV via a 4×4 drivetrain.

Rugged Appearance

The 2025 Land Cruiser retains its valiant and muscular design; albiet with a more aerodynamic silhouette. Upfront, it features a large chrome grille with horizontal slats in the ZX variants and a blacked-out honeycomb pattern in the GR-S version. The sportiness is further enhanced in the GR-S variant by prominent Toyota lettering instead of the Toyota logo on the grille. It further distinguishes itself with blacked-out alloys and door handles, silver skid plate, black-finished side mirrors and GR Sports branding with red accents on the front, side & tailgate of the SUV.

Inside, the Land Cruiser 300 GR-S features an all-black dashboard along with magenta-red upholstery, while the ZX trim flaunts a dual-tone black-&-beige theme with beige-coloured upholstery. The sportier trim also features a ‘GR-S’ motif on the steering wheel and the front seat headrests.

For off-road, it gets multi-terrain select, multi-terrain monitor, adaptive variable suspension, crawl control, downhill assist, and differential locks in the GR-S variant.

The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 can be seen as a potential rival to the Land Rover Range Rover and Mercedes-Maybach GLS.
