TATA Crosses 2 Lakh EV Sales Milestone, Launches Exclusive Offers

Tata Motors was among the first automakers in India to expand its presence in India’s electric car market. Starting its EV journey with the Tigor EV, Tata currently has five models in its electric portfolio: Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV and Curvv EV. With such a widespread EV portfolio, Tata Motors has hit a major sales milestone with over 2 lakh EVs on the road. To celebrate this occasion, the brand has kicked off a 45-day mega celebration, offering exclusive benefits for both new and existing customers to boot EV adoption.

As part of the celebration, new customers can enjoy the following offers: –

  • Up to Rs 50,000 exchange bonus
  • Zero down payment and 100% on-road finance
  • 6 months of free public charging via Tata Power
  • Free installation of a 7.2kW AC fast charger at home

Existing Tata EV owners can avail of a Rs 50,000 loyalty bonus, while Tata passenger car owners can get a Rs 20,000 bonus on upgrading to Nexon EV or Curvv EV.

Commenting on this occasion, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “We thank our customers and partners for making us India’s leading EV brand. With these benefits, we aim to make EVs more accessible and accelerate India’s shift towards sustainable mobility.”

In other news, Tata Motors has plans to double India’s public charging network with over 4 lakh charging points by 2027. The brand is also gearing up to launch Harrier.ev, which was recently showcased in production avatar at the 2025 Auto Expo. Tata will also introduce the Altroz EV, Safari EV and Sierra EV in the near future.
