The Jeep Meridian has been on sale in India since May 2022 as an alternative to the Toyota Fortuner. Now, it is set to receive its first mid-life cycle facelift update. Recently, it was spied testing, revealing some crucial details about its new design and features.
Though the test mule was completey camoflagued, the facelifted Meridian will continue to get a similar structure as the outgoing model. However, it will sport a slightly redesigned grille, accompanied by updated LED headlamps. Additionally, it will feature a revamped bumper design with silver accents and an integrated radar for the inclusion of ADAS tech. Expect the SUV to also feature redesigned alloys and updated connected LED taillights.
The Jeep Meridian is already a well-equipped SUV and with the facelift update, it is expected to become more feature-rich, including additions such as front & rear dashcam and air ourifier. We also anticipate it to boast a new cabin theme.
Mechanically, Jeep is expected to retain the current powertrain for the Meridian facelift. It will continue to be equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic torque converter. Additionally, select variants will continue to offer a 4WD system.

The Jeep Meridian Facelift is expected to hit market in India by the end of 2024, likely priced at a premium over the existing model, which retails between Rs 33.77 lakh and Rs 39.83 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster and Skoda Kodiaq.
