2023 Hyundai Verna Safety Features Revealed; Level 2 ADAS On Offer

Before the 2023 new-generation Hyundai Verna takes the wraps off on March 21, the company has revealed everything you need to know about its safety features.

The 2023 Hyundai Verna will get a plethora of active and passive safety features as standard. The suite will include the following: –

  • 3-point seatbelts for all seats
  • Seat belt reminder for all seats
  • Speed-sensing auto door lock
  • Impact-sensing auto door unlock

Engine Options

  • The upgraded version of the Hyundai Verna will be a petrol-only model.
  • It will be offered with two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm) and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit (160PS/253Nm).
  • A 6-speed manual transmission will be standard.
  • The naturally aspirated petrol mill will also get the option of a CVT, whereas the turbocharged motor will get the choice of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
