2022 Toyota Glanza Facelift – Exterior Design
Based on the recently launched Baleno facelift, the new Glanza looks distinct from its donor vehicle, especially from the front-end. It gets Camry-inspired single slat chrome grille, tweaked LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, and a more aggressively styled front bumper with a prominent blacked-out treatment.
In profile, the 2022 Toyota Glanza gets new 15-inch 8-spoke alloys wheels instead of the Maruti’s 10-spoke. The rear profile receives a slightly tweaked bumper and the new L-shaped LED taillights (identical to the facelifted Baleno).

2022 Toyota Glanza Facelift – Interior and Features
Save for the Toyota badging and a new & more premium looking black-beige color scheme, the interior of the facelifted Glanza remains identical to the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Baleno, featuring a unique layered dashboard, a free-standing infotainment system, redesigned climate control panel, slightly updated instrument cluster and a new flat-bottom steering wheel.
In terms of features, the hatchback gets all the new features from the 2022 Baleno. It includes a new 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology with remote operation, Alexa home device support, Arkamys tuned sound system, a head-up display, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, electronic stability control with hill-hold assist, up to six airbags, etc.
Besides features like automatic AC, auto-LED headlights, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, etc., have been retained from the previous model.
Toyota Glanza Facelift – Engine and Transmission
Powering the Toyota Glanza is the Baleno’s 90PS/113Nm 1.2-litre DualJet DualVVT petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT unit, replacing the more sophisticated Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). It has also dropped the mild-hybrid technology, and you now only get an idle start-stop system to ensure optimal fuel efficiency. Toyota claims that the new Glanza will return a mileage of 22.9kmpl with AMT.
