2021 Yamaha FZ25 MotoGP Edition Launched At Rs 1,36,800

Yamaha Motor India has launched the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition of its popular FZ25 model at an asking price of Rs 1,36,800 (ex-showroom Delhi), just Rs 2,000 more than the standard version. It is important to note that the MotoGP Edition is exclusive to the FZ25 model (not the FZ-S 25), and will be offered in limited numbers only. However, the Japanese bike maker has plans to introduce the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Limited Edition along with its other models as well.

Compared to the standard model, the new FZ 25 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition gets several cosmetic updates to give it a different and sportier appearance. It comes dressed in a glossy black paint scheme, featuring Racing blue accents on the front fairing and tank shrouds. It also flaunts the Eneos and Monster Energy logo and badges on the bodyworks.

Besides the above-mentioned changes, the FZ 25 gets the same powerplant, underpinnings, and features as the regular FZ25 model. That said, it continues to come equipped with features like multi-function negative LCD instrument cluster, LED daytime running lamps, class-D bi-functional LED headlight, under cowl, side stand engine cut-off switch, black color alloys, split seats, and more. It employs a telescopic front fork and rear monoshock, with braking duties taken care of by 282mm front and 220mm rear discs with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Powering the Yamaha FZ 25 is a 249cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 20.8PS of maximum power at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 20.1Nm at 6000rpm. It comes paired with a 5-speed transmission.
