You Can Now Own Volkswagen Taigun Via Subscription Plans

Following the rollout of a subscription programme for Polo, Vento, and T-Roc last month, Volkswagen India has now introduced a similar program for its newly entrant Taigun in selected cities. Buyers can choose from the Comfortline, Highline, Topline, and GT Plus variants of the SUV. Unfortunately, the GT variant (comes with a 1.5-liter TSI-manual powertrain) won't be available for rent.

The aforementioned model will be offered for a tenure ranging from 24 to 48 months. While the subscription charges vary depending upon the location, variant, tenure, and annual usage, the subscription rates will be inclusive of documentation charges, insurance cover, periodic maintenance, RSA, and 100 percent on-road financing for the vehicle.

The subscription will initially be offered in 30 Volkswagen outlets across ten cities of the country, including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Noida, Mumbai, and Pune.

For those who aren't aware, the Volkswagen Taigun comes with two turbocharged petrol engine options – a 1.0-liter TSI and a 1.5-liter TSI with Active Cylinder Technology that shuts off two of four cylinders in low load condition in order to ensure optimum fuel efficiency.
