Yamaha MT-15 Gets 11 New Colors Options

Yamaha Motor India has introduced the “Customize your Warrior” campaign for the MT-15 streetfighter in the country. Under this program, customers can choose their preferred color from 11 unique customized ivory options while booking a new MT-15 motorcycle.

The new color options are as follows: –

  • Dark Matt Blue & Vermillion
  • Dark Matt Blue & Gold
  • Dark Matt Blue & Racing Blue
  • Dark Matt Blue & Neon Green
  • Metallic Black & Gold
  • Metallic black & Racing Blue
  • Metallic Black & Neon Green
  • Metallic Black & Vermillion
  • Ice Fluo & Gold
  • Ice Fluo & Racing Blue
  • Ice Fluo & Neon Green

With this, the MT15 bike is now available in a total of 14 color choices, out of which three regular colors will be promptly available at the dealerships and for 11 new color ivories, buyers can place their orders at authorized dealers or on Yamaha's official website for a token amount of Rs 5,000. Delivery of these customized Yamaha MT15 will begin from January 2021, whereas if you opt for the Neon Green color wheel model then you have to wait till March 2021 to get your bike delivered. 

The customizable Yamaha MT-15 is priced at Rs 1,43,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). On the other hand, the base color options bear a price tag of Rs 1,39,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), whereas the Ice-fluco vermillion model retails for Rs 1,40,990 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The heart of the Yamaha MT 15 naked streetfighter is a 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, fuel-injected, single-cylinder motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system that churns out 18.5PS at 10,000rpm and 13.9Nm at 8500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In the Indian market, the Yamaha MT-15 rivals the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
