TVS Radeon Refresh – What’s New?
The upgraded TVS Radeon comes equipped with a reverse multi-colour LCD digital cluster which shows real-time mileage (segment’s first feature), service indication, time (clock), top speed, low battery indication and average speed info. However, unlike the recently updated Hero Passion Pro 110, it misses out on Bluetooth connectivity.
Features like daytime running lamp, chrome finished headlamp & side mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, USB charging port, rear carrier, side stand indicator with beeper, etc., will continue to be available with the bike. Even the braking and suspension setup of the motorcycle remain the same.
Powering the TVS Radeon is a 109.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that belts out 8.4PS and 8.7Nm. The engine also comes equipped with TVS’ intelliGO technology which is essentially an idle start/stop system to prevent the wastage of fuel during long idling, thus improving fuel economy.
In the Indian market, the bike continues to fight against the Bajaj Platina 110, Hero Passion Pro, and Honda Livo.
