As mentioned above, the Toyota Rumion is essentially a cross-badged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and design-wise, it is easily recognisable. However, Toyota has made a few minor changes to give it a slightly different identity from its donor model. These include an Innova Hycross-inspired grille, a reworked bumper with triangular fog lamp housings, newly designed alloy wheels, and a chrome strip at the tailgate that connects the LED taillights.
Inside, the dashboard layout is identical to the Maruti Ertiga. However, the Rumion gets a slightly different finish of the faux wooden trim and a dual-tone brown-&-beige upholstery instead of Ertiga’s beige-only hue.
Regarding features, it gets the same set of equipment as the Ertiga. Some of the notable mentions are: –
The Rumion is available in a sole 7-seater version featuring a 2+3+2 arrangement.
