The price hike for the Skoda Kushaq ranges from Rs 19,000 to Rs 29,000, depending on the variant. However, the Czech automaker exempted the mid-spec Ambition 1.0-litre TSI manual and automatic variants from the price revision.
As the above table indicates, Skoda offers the Kushaq with two BS6-compliant turbocharged petrol engines – 1.0-litre TSI (115PS/178Nm) and 1.5-litre TSI (150PS/250Nm) with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT). Both of these engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. The 1.0-litre motor is also available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic, whereas the 1.5-litre mill has a 7-speed DSG option, offered with the top-spec Style variant.
In the Indian automotive space, the Kushaq competes with the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Nissan Kicks, Volkswagen Taigun, and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross.
