Okinawa Praise, Ridge Electric Scooters Get More Affordable Owing To Updated Fame-II Scheme

Following the footsteps of TVS iQube and Ather range of scooters, Okinawa has now announced the revised prices of its high-speed electric scooters, courtesy of the recently updated Fame II subsidiary scheme

Compared to the Ather 450X, and TVS iQube, the Okinawa e-scooters have received the highest price cut of up to Rs 17,892. Now, let's have a quick look at their key specifications: –

In the other updates, Okinawa is also planning to launch the Oki100 e-bike in the Indian market, which is expected to cost around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) and will feature a removable battery pack that is expected to offer a range of around 150km on a single charge. If reports are to be believed, it will be a 100% localized model, with each component, including battery pack will be manufactured & sourced from local suppliers.

Besides, the brand is also gearing up to start its new production plant in Rajasthan, near its Khushkhera-based existing facility.
