- While the gasoline mill makes 203PS and 380Nm, the oil burner is available in two states of tunes: 132PS/300Nm; and 175PS/400Nm.
- Mahindra offers the rear-wheel drivetrain (RWD) standard with the new Scorpio, along with the choice of a part-time 4-wheel-drivetrain (4WD) with the diesel engine.
- The 4WD trims also get four traction modes (Tarmac, Snow, Mud, and Desert), shift-on-fly function, a low-range transfer case, a front brake-locking differential, and a rear mechanical differential.
