You might think that’s all Hyundai has changed, but hold your horses as it has also dropped the automatic climate control function from its features list.

The rest of the feature list remains unchanged. The key highlight includes automatic headlamps, projector fog lamps, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, front & rear speakers, front tweeters, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, powered side mirrors, cruise control, rear AC vents, tyre pressure monitoring system, day/night IRVM, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

As mentioned above, Hyundai offers the i20 Sportz variant with two engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit that churns out 83PS and 114Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT (continuously variable transmission), and the other one is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol mill that makes 120PS/172Nm, mated to a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission).

Currently, Hyundai retails the i20 between Rs 7.19 – 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the likes of Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, and Toyota Glanza.
