Hyundai Motors India has entered into a strategic alliance with Tata Motors to expand EV charging infrastructure and rev the adoption of electric vehicles in India.
Under this partnership, Tata Power will establish 60kW DC fast charging stations at Hyundaiโs 34 EV dealerships across 29 cities in India. It will also supply and install home chargers at the preferred location of Hyundaiโs EV customers.
As of now, all these 34 Hyundai EV dealerships are equipped with 7.2kW AC chargers. With the installation of 60kW fast chargers, the vehicle charging time will become much lesser when compared to the existing AC chargers, thus, enhancing customer convenience.
