Tata Nexon EV is all set to receive a facelift update this year. It is likely to be launched by mid-2022. If reports are to be believed, the new Nexon EV could be sold alongside the ongoing model that comes with a 30.2kWh battery pack and offers a claimed-range of 312 kilometers (real-world range closer to 200kms). Its upgraded model will get a 30 percent bigger battery (40kWh capacity) to deliver a range of over 400km. Also, the brand has already homologated the SUV with a 136PS (100kW) electric motor that is 7PS more powerful than the current model.
While the test mule was heavily camouflaged, it is likely to receive some noticeable visual changes inside and out, along with a few new features, including selectable modes for regenerative braking, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
