2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour S Launched At Rs 6.51 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new Tour S sedan aimed at the taxi market and corporates. Offered comes in a sole STD (O) variant, albeit with both petrol and CNG powertrain options. The brand has offered it in three colour options – Arctic White, Midnight Black and Silky Silver.

The 2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour S is based on the current DZire, featuring a hexagonal grille, sweptback headlamps and LED combination rear lamp. As for features, the sedan gets only basic comfort, convenience and safety features, such as a power steering wheel with tilt adjustment function, manual AC with Pollen filter, front accessory socket, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, electronic stability control, reverse parking sensors, high-speed alert system, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and speed-sensitive door locking.

It will be powered by the same 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine as the current DZire that makes 89 BHP at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm at 4400 rpm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It doesn’t get the convenience of automatic transmission. However, it can be had with a factory-fitted CNG kit that makes 76 BHP and 98.5 Nm when fed with natural gas.

Maruti Tour S claims a fuel efficiency of 23.15 km/l in petrol and 32.12 km/kg in CNG guise, making it India’s most fuel-efficient entry-level taxi sedan.
