Yamaha R15 V4 Dark Knight Edition Launched At Rs 1.82 Lakh

Yamaha India has expanded the range of the R15 V4 sportster by introducing the new Dark Knight Edition, priced at Rs 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the bike is now available in four colour options – Metallic Red, Dark Knight, Racing Blue and Intensity White.

Yamaha R15 V4 Dark Knight Edition – What’s Special?

  • The new R15 V4 Dark Knight Edition comes with a few cosmetic changes over the standard model.
  • The Dark Knight Edition of the R15 V4 features a black exterior adorned with gold accents, including the Yamaha and R15 logos, as well as golden alloy wheels.

What’s Unchanged?

  • Apart from this new colourway, the bike remains identical to its standard model. Having said that, it continues to be powered by the 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine that makes 18.4hp and 14.2Nm.
  • The R15 is equipped with a delta box frame, suspended on a USD fork and a monoshock.
  • For braking, it gets a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, coupled with a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).

Rivals

In the Indian market, the Yamaha R15 V4 goes up against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 200 and the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR.
