Yamaha Fascino S Launched With “Answer Back” Function

Yamaha Motors has launched the new S variant of the Fascino 125 scooter, featuring an innovative “Answer Back” function. The company has offered it in three vibrant colours – Matte Red and Matte Black priced at Rs 93,730 and Dark Matte Blue priced at Rs 94,530 (ex-showroom Delhi).

  • The new “Answer Back” function enables owners to locate their scooter remotely by activating both side indicators and the horn for approximately two seconds.
  • To access this feature, users must download the “Yamaha Scooter Answer Back” app from the Google Play Store/App Store.

Besides the addition of the Yamaha Fascino S remains unchanged. It retains its existing features like silent starter, automatic start/stop function with Normal and Traffic modes, LED headlamp, LED DRL, LED taillight, digital instrument cluster

Powering the Yamaha Fascino S is a 125cc air-cooled fuel injected (Fi) engine with the Smart Motor Generator (SMG) that charges the onboard battery. The SMG along with the engine produces 8.2PS of max power and up to 10.3Nm of torque.

Equipped with a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheel combination, the Fascino features telescopic forks and a monoshock for suspension. The braking system includes a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, while the most budget-friendly variant comes with drum brakes on both ends.

In the 125cc scooter segment, the Yamaha Fascino S locks horns with the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini 125 and TVS Jupiter 125.
