The Bajaj Chetak 2901 has recently been launched as the most affordable variant in the Chetak’s lineup. With this, the Chetak electric scooter is available in a total of three variants, including the Urbane and Premium.   • Despite having a slightly smaller battery pack, the new Chetak 2901 offers slightly more range than the Chetak Urbane.
  • Compared to other variants, the Chetak 2901 takes roughly 1.5 hrs more to charge the scooter fully.
  • The Chetak 2901 has a top speed of 63 km/h, which is on par with the standard version of the Chetak Urbane. However, the Urbane TecPac and Premium variants have a higher top speed of 73 km/h.

  • The standard Chetak 2901 lacks features such as a key fob, app connectivity, and a reverse assist function. However, the latter two are available with the optional TecPac, priced reasonably at ₹3,000. However, the TecPac for the Chetak Urbane, priced at ₹8,000, seems quite overpriced.
  • The top-spec Chetak Premium variant offers a 5-inch coloured TFT cluster as standard. Its TecPac also includes sequential blinkers, adding a modern touch to its design.
