The much-anticipated Volkswagen Tiguan R Line has finally been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 48.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Brought via the CBU route, the flagship R Line will be offered in limited quantities. Bookings for the SUV are already underway.
Volkswagen Tiguan R Line – Exterior
Based on the new-generation version, the Tiguan R Line looks different from the outgoing model. It features sleeker LED headlamps with a connected LED strip and a massive mesh-pattern air dam with a chromed lip, giving it a premium and sporty appearance.
From the sides, the Tiguan R-Line comes with 19-inch “Coventry” alloy wheels with diamond-turned surfaces. Instead of cladding, it gets a body-coloured side skid plate, offering protection during off-road and on uneven surfaces.
The rear will remind you of the Taigun, featuring a large connected LED lamp with a smoked effect, black finish on the lower side of the bumper with chrome treatment and a roof spoiler up above.

Volkswagen offers the Tiguan R-Line in six monotone colours: Persimmon Red Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White Mother of Pearl Effect, Cipressiono Green Metallic, and Oyster Silver Metallic. Head here to see their images.
