Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus Gets New GT Line Variants With 1-litre TSI Engine

At its yearly press conference, Volkswagen introduced new GT Line variants for the Virtus and Taigun. These new variants are additions to the existing GT Line lineup, which are now named Chrome, Sport, and Edge. Each comes with its own unique characteristics, like blacked-out inserts for the Sport, chrome inserts for the Chrome and exclusive colour options for the Edge trim.

Here are more details: –

Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus GT Plus Chrome

  • It is the same variant we are used to to seeing on our roads, featuring plenty of shiny chrome elements on the grille, bumper, roofrails and even the alloy wheels.
  • It continues to be restricted to the 1.5-litre TSI engine only.

Taigun GT Line, GT Plus Sport

The Virtus GT also features red brake callipers and red GT branding on the grille and rear profile.
  • Inside, the Sport variant flaunts an all-black theme, complemented by contrast red stitchings for added appeal.
