Hero MotoCorp has recently forayed into the electric vehicle (EV) segment with the all-new Vida V1 electric scooter. It comes in two variants: V1 Plus and V1 Pro, primarily having price and range differences between them. With the asking rates starting from Rs 1,45,000 (ex-showroom, with FAME II subsidy), the Vida V1 seems quite expensive from its rivals. However, the inclusion of state-wise subsidies makes the deal slightly better. So, here’s how much it will cost in Jaipur (Rajasthan), Delhi and Bengaluru (Karanataka): –
Vida V1 Plus | Vida V1 Pro | |
Ex-Showroom Price | Rs 1.76 lakh | Rs 1.99 lakh |
Portable Charger | Rs 20,000 | Rs 20,000 |
FAME II Incentive | Rs 51,000 | Rs 60,000 |
State Subsidy | Delhi: Rs 17,000 Rajasthan: Rs 11,190 Karnataka: NA | Delhi: Rs 20,000 Rajasthan: Rs 11,738 Karnataka: NA |
Effective Price (exclusive of insurance, road tax & registration chargers) | Delhi: Rs 1,28,000 Rajasthan: Rs 1,33,810 Karnataka: Rs 1,45,000 | Delhi: Rs 1,39,000 Rajasthan: Rs 1,47,262 Karnataka: Rs 1,59,000 |
Currently, only available for bookings in Delhi, Jaipur and Bengaluru, the Vida V1 attracts the highest subsidy in the national capital, followed by Jaipur, Rajasthan. There are no state incentives in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
