Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based startup, has finally unleashed some technical specifications about the F77 ahead of its launch on November 24, 2022. Here’re the details: –
- Range anxiety is a foremost concern about electric vehicles, and in order to solve this problem, the Ultraviolette F77 now gets a new 10.5kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a higher energy density than the 4.2kWh battery shown in the 2019 model. More cells are now on board, and the battery is no longer a removable triple-pack but now a heavier, fixed single unit.
- With all these changes mentioned above, the range of Ultraviolette F77 has also gone up from 150km to 307km (Indian Driving Cycle Claimed), making it the highest-range-offering electric motorcycle in the country.

- With the elimination of removable batteries, engineers at Ultraviolette have also redesigned its frame. It has not only become lighter in weight but now also uses the motor as a stressed member.
- The electric motor has also been tuned for maximum reliability and minimum noise. However, at 25KW/90Nm, the performance remained the same.
- While the inverted front fork and rear monoshock setup continue to serve, the milled aluminium swingarm has been replaced with a cast swingarm to keep the prices in check.
- The bike now tips the scale at 190kg, 32kg more than the concept model.
