TVS Motor Company has updated the Apache RTR 160 2V with dual-channel ABS and an OBD-2B-compliant engine. Its price now starts from Rs 1,34,320 (ex-showroom).

2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V – What’s New?

  • As mentioned above, TVS has equipped the Apache RTR 160 2V with a dual-channel Antilock Braking System. Unlike single-channel ABS, which only works on the front wheels, this system monitors both front & rear wheels independently during braking to enhance rider safety. It reduces the chances of wheel lockup under hard or emergency braking, especially on slippery or uneven surfaces, thus enhancing stability and control and shorter braking distances.
  • The bike’s engine is now OBD-2B compliant, adhering to the latest emission norms. This onboard diagnostic system continuously monitors emission levels and key engine components in real time to ensure cleaner emissions.
  • TVS has also introduced a new Matte Black colour option for the 2025 Apache RTR 160.

The underpinnings of the bike comprise a double-cradle frame, suspended on a telescopic front fork and dual rear gas-charged shock absorbers. For braking, it gets a 270mm front and a 200mm rear petal discs. The bike has a kerb weight of 138kg, an easily accessible seat height of 790mm, a healthy ground clearance of 180mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.
