Toyota Innova Hycross Vs Kia Carnival: Spec and Mileage Comparison

Latest Update: The prices of Toyota Innova Hycross have finally been announced. Click here for the complete price list.

Toyota Innova Hycross has recently made its India debut. While its bookings are now open, its prices are likely to be revealed in January 2023. Compared to its predecessor, the new Innova is a monocoque-based front-wheel-driven vehicle which now comes only in a petrol guise, albeit with a self-charging strong-hybrid option. While it doesn’t have any direct rival in its category, it can be seen as a close alternative to the more premium Kia Carnival. So, here’s a quick specification comparison of the 2023 Toyota Innova Hycross with the Kia Carnival to see how it fares against it.

Kia Carnival Vs Toyota Innova Hycross

The Kia Carnival is offered only with a diesel engine that is more powerful than the Hycross’s petrol engines. However, the new Innova is the most fuel-efficient offering in its category, delivering almost 7kmpl more efficiency than the Carnival Diesel. In fact, its 52-litre fuel tank translates to a range of over 1000 kms, which is way more than Kia Carnival’s tank range.

Expect Toyota to price the non-hybrid petrol variants of the new Innova Hycross from around Rs 17 lakh, while its strong-hybrid variant could cost from roughly Rs 20 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
