The petrol-only Toyota Innova Hycross gets a new range-topping GX(O) variant. It is offered in both 7- and 8-seater configurations. Toyota has yet to reveal its prices. We expect it to command a premium of around Rs 70,000 over the GX variant.
Positioned as the top-of-the-line variant for the non-hybrid version, the new Toyota Innova Hycross GX(O) trim gets a host of additional features over the GX variant. These include
Besides, features like dual LED automatic headlamp, powered side mirrors, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents, day/night IRVM, 6 airbags, vehicle stability control, hill start assist, electronic parking brakes with auto hold, reverse parking camera, ISOFIX anchors, etc, will continue to be on offer.

Underneath the hood, the Innova Hycross GX(O) gets the 2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 173PS of max power and 209Nm of peak torque. Mated to a CVT automatic transmission, it powers the front wheels of the MPV.
Toyota also offers the Hycross with an 184PS 2-litre hybrid powertrain. However, it is not available with the GX(O) variant.

The Innova Hycross has no direct rival in the Indian market. It can be seen as a premium alternative to the Toyota Innova Crysta.
