Toyota India has introduced a new strong-hybrid variant for the Innova Hycross called the VX (O), positioned between the VX and ZX variants in the lineup. The carmaker has priced it at Rs 26.73 lakh for the 7-seater and Rs 26.78 lakh for the 8-seater version. Besides, Toyota has also increased the prices of the MPV by up to Rs 75,000. - The Toyota Innova Hycross ranges between Rs 18.55 lakh to Rs 29.72 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the introductory prices have come to an end.
- All the petrol variants of the Innova Hycross have received a uniform price hike of Rs 25,000. On the other hand, the prices of strong-hybrid VX and ZX (O) variants have gone up by Rs 75,000.
- The newly introduced VX (O) variant is Rs 1.97 lakh more expensive than the VX Hybrid variant. For this added premium, it gets additional features, like LED fog lamps, a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, and much more. The other notable features of the MPV include 17-inch alloy wheels, paddle shifters, LED headlamps, smart entry systems, hill start assist, 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and front/rear parking sensors. etc., have been carried forward from the VX trims.

Toyota Innova Hycross Powertrains
Toyota offers the Innova Hycross with a 174PS, 2.0-litre petrol engine that can also be had with a self-charging strong-hybrid setup that delivers a combined power output of 186PS and a fuel efficiency of up to 21.1kmpl of fuel efficiency (claimed). For transmission duties, the petrol engine gets a CVT automatic, while the strong hybrid mill comes with a single-speed e-CVT unit.
Currently, the Toyota Innova Hycross has no direct rival in the Indian market. It can be seen as an affordable alternative to the diesel-powered Kia Carnival.
