Toyota India has hiked the prices of its best-selling Innova Crysta MPV by up to Rs 68,000, citing increased input cost as the reason for this move. It is the second time when the Japanese carmaker has revised the prices of its facelifted model since its launch in November 2020. Here's a look at the new prices of the 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta:-

As it is clear from the above table, the price increment for Innova Crysta facelift ranges from Rs 30,000 to Rs 68,000. The base-spec G and G+ diesel variants are the most affected by the price hike, followed by the top-spec ZX trim. All the other variants have witnessed a uniform price jump of Rs 30,000.

Apart from the change in the price list, no other changes have been made to the MPV. It will continue to be available with two engine options – a 2.4-litre diesel (150PS/360Nm) and a 2.7-litre petrol engine (166PS/245Nm). Both motors are offered with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions.

As for features, the Innova Crysta comes with LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, dual-tone alloy wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, an 8-inch touchscreen Smart Playcast infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, a coloured multi-info display, Camel Tan coloured leather seats, powered driver’s seat, rear AC vents, and more. Customers can also get connectivity features such as real-time vehicle tracking, last parked location, geofencing, etc., as optional accessories.

Safety is taken care of by seven airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a parking camera, and traction control.

The Toyota MPV doesn't have any direct competitors in the Indian market. However, it could be seen as an alternative to the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV500, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
