Three New Tata Cars Incoming In 2026

Tata Motors launched the much-awaited Sierra SUV this year, creating huge buzz among buyers, and the brand is set to carry this momentum into next year as well, with three new models lined up.

  • Tata Motors is expected to launch three new cars in 2026.
  • The Sierra EV will be first to launch, followed by the Punch facelift and the new-gen Nexon.

Tata Sierra Accomplished diesel price

The homegrown carmaker has already confirmed the launch of the Tata Sierra EV in the first quarter of 2026, with an expected price between Rs 19 lakh and Rs 24.5 lakh. Built on the brand’s new ARGOS platform, it will be offered in both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive options. And like every other Tata EV, the Sierra EV is also expected to be offered with two battery pack options, probably with 55kWh and 65kWh.

Design-wise, the Sierra EV will resemble its ICE counterpart, except for some minor EV-specific design changes on the front fascia. Its production will take place at the brand’s Sanad facility alongside the ICE version.

2026 New-Gen Tata Nexon

Nex-gen Tata Nexon

Tata Motors is reportedly working on the next-gen Nexon (codenamed GARUD), with market launch expected around the festive season. While it is not official, we expect it to be based on a new platform, with significant improvements in cabin space and structural rigidity. Besides, some major design changes are also expected both inside and outside, along with a host of new features.

While the 1.2-litre petrol and CNG powertrains are expected to continue, the diesel’s future is still uncertain as the government is considering implementing the BS7 emission norms in 2026-27, and upgrading the diesel motor to meet these regulations would involve high costs, which could impact its viability.

Tata Punch Facelift

The Punch facelift is undergoing rigorous testing and has been spied numerous times. It is expected to borrow some design cues from its electric iteration, including a connected lighting bar below the bonnet with the main headlamps situated on either side of the bumper. It is also expected to receive a new alloy design, a revised tailgate with a connected tail lamp setup.

Inside, it is expected to receive a larger touchscreen infotainment, a fully digital cluster, a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and ventilated seats.

Mechanically, it is expected to remain unchanged and continue with the 1.2-litre petrol and CNG powertrain options. Tata is expected to launch the Punch Facelift in the first half of 2026.
