Tata Sierra Garnered Over 70,000 Bookings on Day One

  • Over 1.35 lakh customers have submitted their preferred configurations
  • It is available in seven variants: Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+. 
  • Price starts from Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • Interested customers can book the Sierra for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The recently launched Tata Sierra SUV has received an immense response from buyers, garnering over 70,000 bookings on the very first day of the commencement of official bookings. Tata also claims that an additional 1.35 lakh customers are submitting their preferred configuration as they progress to complete booking formalities.

Deliveries for the Sierra are slated to start on January 15, 2026, with priority expected to be given to higher variants of the SUV before rolling out the lower variants.

The new Sierra SUV comes with two petrol and one diesel engines. While it uses the same 1.5-litre diesel mill as the Nexon, both petrol engines are new to Tata’s product lineup. These include one naturally aspirated and one turbocharged petrol engine, both with a displacement of 1.5 litres. Now, let’s take a look at their specifications: –

Features Onboard

The 2025 Sierra comes with amenities like automatic LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, up to 19-inch alloys, flush-fitting door handles, triple-connected screens (including a co-passenger entertainment display), ambient lighting, a powered driver seat with memory function, BOSS mode to adjust the co-passenger seat from the rear, ventilated front seats with extendable thigh-support, recline function for rear seats, rear sunshades, JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos support, heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, drive modes, terrain modes, paddle shifters, etc.

The SUV’s safety kit includes seven airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, front & rear parking sensors, and a level-2 ADAS suite, with advanced active safety features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keep assist, and much more.

Price Range and Competitors

The Sierra is priced between Rs 11.49 lakh and Rs 21.29 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victori and Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
