The New Mahindra BE6 SPORTEQ Teased; Launch On August 15

Earlier, we reported that Mahindra is going to introduce an updated BE6 SUV with a triple-screen setup, and now the same has been teased from Mahindra’s official handle. Called the “BE6 Sporteq”, this new variant will also feature a redesigned dashboard, devoid of the current halo-like loop around the driver’s area. It is slated to be launched on August 15, 2026.

Mahindra BE6 SPORTEQ: What To Expect?

  • The latest teaser confirms that the BE6 Sportieq will get a triple-screen setup, a feature which is already offered with all other Mahindra EVs
  • It is also likely to get a redesigned dashboard layout to address the ergonomic flaw in the current model.
  • The teaser also confirms a new matte grey shade for the exterior, an updated tan interior scheme and brown seat upholstery for a more premium appeal.

Likely To Remain Mechanically Unchanged

We do not expect any mechanical changes on the BE 6 Sporteq. It is likely to be offered with the same battery pack options as the regular BE6, which includes 59kWh and 79kWh units. Irrespective of the battery pack, it is powered by a rear electric motor, making up to 286PS of max power and 380Nm of peak torque.
