Mahindra Scorpio N-based Pickup Truck Teased; Debut on August 14

Day after teasing the BE6 Sporteq, Mahindra has now dropped a teaser of another new product that will be unveiled on August 14, 2026. It will be a lifestyle pickup truck, based on the Scorpio N SUV. It was first revealed in 2023 as the Global Pik Up concept.

Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Truck: What Does the Teaser Reveal?

  • Going by the official teaser, the upcoming Mahindra pickup truck will feature inverted L-shaped LED DRLs as its concept model, with sleeker LED headlights. Below them are vertically stacked LED fog lamps on either side of the bumper.
  • Keen eyes could also notice a front camera placed just under the Mahindra logo on the grille, suggesting that it may be equipped with a 360-degree camera setup.
  • The teased model was in a double-cab layout and had a long rear load bed.
  • Towards the rear, a “Mahindra” lettering is embossed on the tailgate, while the LED tail-lights feature a C-shaped design.

Mahindra Scorpio N-based Pickup Truck interior and features
  • On the inside, the pickup truck will feature the same dashboard layout as the pre-facelifted Scorpio N, albeit with a larger portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system.
  • Also visible in the teaser are a digital driver’s display, electronic parking brakes, rotary knobs, and a drive mode selector.

What Else Do We Know So Far?

  • The Scorpio N pickup truck is likely to be underpinned by Mahindra’s next-generation ladder frame.
  • It will also feature semi-automatic parking, dual-zone climate control, 5G-based connectivity features, an electric sunroof, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and a Trailer Sway Mitigation system. The latter is essentially an ESP (electronic stability control)-based system that identifies when a towed trailer starts swaying and employs ESP intervention to stabilise the trailer’s movement.

  • Powering it will be a 2nd-generation all-aluminium mHawk diesel engine, mated to either a 6-speed manual or an Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
  • While it is not official, it is also likely to get a petrol engine, probably the same unit as the one offered with the Scorpio N.
  • It will come with shift-on-fly 4×4 capabilities, along with multiple driving modes.

Expected Price and Rivals Check

We expect Mahindra to position the Scorpio N pickup as an affordable alternative to the Toyota Hilux (Rs 31.99 – 36.69 lakh), which has recently entered a new generation.
