Tata Tigor EV To Get More Feature-Rich Tomorrow

Tata Motors has teased the updated Tigor EV on its social media handle, revealing that the electrified sedan will receive a host of new features tomorrow, ie., November 23.

Going by the teaser, the Tata Tigor EV will receive a new & vibrant red colour paint scheme. It will also get leatherette upholstery, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, multi-level regen braking, iRA-connected car technology and a tyre pressure monitoring system. All these features are already present in the recently launched Tiago EV. We expect a select few of these features to be limited to a new range-topping variant, which could be called the XZ+ Lux.

Apart from these new additions, the Tigor EV is expected to remain unchanged. It will continue to get features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, keyless entry with push button start and more.

Tata offers the Tiago EV with a 26kWh battery pack that powers the front-axle mounted electric motor, rated at 75PS and 170Nm. It claims an ARAI-tested range of 306km on a single charge.

Tata Tigor EV

The Tata Tigor EV is currently priced from Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 13.64 lakh (ex-showroom). If it gets a new range-topping variant tomorrow, expect it to bear a price premium of around Rs 20,000 over the ongoing XZ+ trim.
