Tata Tiago EV: More Than 10,000 Units Delivered to Customers

Tata Motors hit a major milestone with the Tiago EV by delivering 10,000 units in under four months. The Tiago EV also set a record as the fastest-booked EV in India, with 10,000 bookings in 24 hours and 20,000 by December 2022.

The carmaker has also stated that the Tiago EV community has reached 491 cities, clocking an impressive 11.2 million kilometres and preventing 1.6 million grams of harmful CO2 emissions from polluting the environment.

A Quick Overview of Tata Tiago EV

  • Tiago EV comes with two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh.
  • The smaller battery variants of the vehicle feature an electric motor that delivers 61PS of power and 110Nm of torque, while the larger battery variants are equipped with a motor rated at 75PS and 114Nm.
  • The smaller battery pack model is estimated to provide a range of 250km, whereas the larger one boasts a range of 315km. However, their actual drive range differs in real-world conditions.
  • Tata provides the electric hatch with two charging options – a standard 3.3kW and an optional 7.2kW AC home charger. The vehicle also supports DC fast charging up to 50kW.
