Tata Safari Gold Edition To Debut At Vivo IPL 2021 UAE

Tata Motors has announced to unveil the Safari Gold Edition in the second leg of Vivo IPL 2021, which is going to be held in UAE from 19th September to 15th October. For those who aren't aware, the flagship Tata Safari SUV is the official partner of Vivo Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

Earlier, the 14th edition of the IPL Twenty20 Cricket League was suspended due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. But now, the BCCI is all set to organise the remaining matches of VIVO IPL 2021 in UAE. We are all aware of the popularity of IPL, and Tata choosing this opportunity to showcase the Safari Gold Edition is a smart move from the marketing point of view.

Talking about the teaser video, it doesn't reveal much about the product. However, it is likely to get the High Street Gold color scheme as the Altroz premium hatchback. All the changes to the SUV will be purely cosmetic. That said, it will continue to get the existing set of features and powertrain option.

Currently, the Tata Safari is available in six broad trims: XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+, which are from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.81 lakh (ex-showroom). The Safari Gold Edition is likely to carry a slight premium over the regular paint variants.
