Tata Nexon's Pure Silver Color Axed From Its Lineup

Tata's highly popular Nexon sub-4m SUV will no longer be available in the Pure Silver color scheme. This is the second time in 2021 when the automaker has revised Nexon's color platelets. With this, the SUV is now available in five exterior paint options: Foliage Green, Calgary White, Daytona Grey, Flame Red, and Atlas Black. The brand hasn't revealed whether this discontinued color will be replaced by any other shade.

No other changes have been made to the SUV. It will continue to be available in five broad trims: XE, XM, XZ, XZ+, and XZ+(O), which are currently priced from Rs 7.28 lakh to Rs 13.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Features onboard include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Harman sound system, digital driver’s display, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, rain-sensing wipers, a single-pane electric sunroof, cruise control, and multiple drive modes.

Passenger safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with a camera, electronic stability program (ESP), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

Powering the SUV is either a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol (120PS/170Nm) or a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel (110PS/260Nm) engine. Both motors come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT transmission options.
