Tata Motors Achieves 31% Growth In April 2026

Tata Motors has witnessed a strong monthly sales performance in April 2026, recording a total sales of 59,701 units. That’s 31.1% year-on-year growth against 45,532 units sold in April 2025.

Driving this performance was a strong domestic showing, with Tata Motors dispatching 59,000 units in the Indian market, marking a 30.5% YoY growth over 45,199 units sold in the same month last year. The company’s international business (IB) also witnessed a sharp rise, with volumes increasing to 701 units, up 110.5% YoY from 333 units.

A key highlight of Tata Motors’ performance continues to be its electric vehicle (EV) portfolio. The company recorded combined EV sales (domestic + international) of 9,150 units in April 2026, registering an impressive 72.1% YoY growth compared to 5,318 units in April 2025.

In other news, Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Sierra EV in the coming months. It is expected to be offered with two battery pack options, with a range of over 500km in a single charge.
