Tata Harrier EV
Having first showcased in concept guise at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Tata Harrier EV has now finally been revealed in production avatar at the ongoing 2025 Auto Expo. It was finished in a matte black paint scheme, which the brand calls “Stealth Edition”. It is based on Tata’s Gen 2 Acti.ev architecture and will feature a dual-motor setup for an all-wheel drive system (a first for a Tata car). While detailed specifications are yet to be revealed, Tata reveals it will offer a peak torque output of 500Nm.
Design-wise, the Tata Harrier EV looks largely similar to its ICE version, except for a few EV-specific changes in the grille and bumpers. It also features a new set of aero-optimised alloy wheels with a dual-tone finish and EV badging on the front doors and tailgate.
Inside, the electrified Harrier carries forward the same dashboard layout as its ICE version, with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment taking centre stage. The other features of the SUV have also been retained. In addition, the EV also comes with vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.
