Hyundai Creta Electric: Exterior Design and Dimensions

The Hyundai Creta Electric looks largely similar to its ICE counterpart except for a few changes like blacked-off grille, and gloss black elements between the headlamps. The charging port is located in the middle beneath the Hyundai logo. It also features four retractable air vents in the lower grille that not only enhance aerodynamics but also provide better cooling for the powertrain components.

Other notable changes include new 17-inch aerodynamically designed dual-tone alloys and redesigned spoiler.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Interior and Key Features

The new Creta Electric sports the same dual-tone interior as the standard model. However, there are a few unique touches like a 3-spoke steering wheel with a drive selector lever similar to IONIQ 5. It also gets a differently styled double deck centre console. Its seats are made of recycled materials.

Compared to the standard Creta, its electric counterpart also gets tons of additional features like two retractable rear trays, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, a powered co-driver seat, multi-level regen braking, inside & outside V2L (3.5kW output), cooling storage inside the armrest and much more.

The other notable features of the Creta Electric include dual-zone climate control with driver-only mode, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, dual-connected displays, wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car tech, remote start function, digital key support, ventilated front seats, Bose sound system, ambient lighting, driving modes, six airbags, ESC, hill assist, a 360-degree camera, and level-2 ADAS functionalities, including adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Powertrain

As mentioned above, Hyundai offers the Creta Electric with two battery pack options: a 42kWh having an ARAI-rated range of 390 km and a 51.4kWh with a claimed range of 473 km. Powering both battery pack units is a front-axle mounted single electric motor rated at 135PS with the smaller battery pack and 171PS with the bigger unit.

With the help of an 11kW AC home charger, the Creta Electric can be charged from 10 to 100 per cent in around 4 hours. The EV also supports 50kW DC fast charging which takes around 58 mins for the same. It will also support 100kW fast charging from H2 of 2025.

Hyundai Creta Electric Colour Options

Hyundai has offered the Creta Electric in eight monotone and two dual-tone colour options, including three matte colours.

  • Monotone Shades: Atlas White, Ocean Blue, Starry Night, Abyss Black Pearl, Fiery Red Pearl, Ocean Blue Matte, Titan Grey Matte, and Robust Emerald Matte
  • Dual-tone Shades: Atlas White with black roof and Ocean Blue with black roof
