Hero Xoom 160 Maxi Scooter Launched In India At Rs 1.49 Lakh

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xoom 160 maxi-styled scooter in India, with prices starting from Rs 1,48,500 (ex-showroom). It was first unveiled at the EICMA 2023. Here’s all you need to know about this new performance scooter: –

  • Powering the all-new Hero Xoom 160 is the brand’s new 156cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 14PS at 8,000 rpm and 13.7Nm at 6,500 rpm. It also benefits from Hero’s i3s start/stop technology, along with a silent starter.
  • The Hero maxi-scooter has two split LED headlamps, a split LED taillight, keyless ignition, a remote seat opening, and a fully digital dashboard.
  • Underpinning comprises a telescopic fork and dual-shock absorbers, suspended on 14-inch alloy wheels shod with block-pattern tyres.
  • Anchoring duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, assisted by the Antilock Braking System (ABS).
  • The scooter is available in four colour options: Matte Rain Forest Green, Summit White, Matte Volcanic Grey and Canyon Red.
  • The Hero Xoom 160 takes on the likes of Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SXR 160.
